She Spies is an action-adventure television show that ran from September 9, 2002 until May 17, 2004, in two seasons. The show was sold into syndication but the first four episodes premiered on the NBC network, whose syndication arm was one of the producers. Disappointing ratings during the show's second season led to its cancellation after season two ended. She Spies bore noticeable production and directive similarities with Charlie's Angels.

Season 1 Episode 8: Trap
Cassie (Natasha Henstredge), Shane (Natashia Williams) and D.D. (Kristen Miller) are trapped inside their house, which has been rigged with explosives by a vengeful criminal. They are unable to move around freely, as anything in the house could potentially trigger an explosion. Later in the episode, their boss, Jack (Carlos Jacott) also ends up trapped. At one point, D.D whines, "does anyone else have to pee?" leading Shane to groan that she'd been trying to forget about it, while Jack worries because he just had coffee.

Season 2 Episode 5: Date to Mate
Shane and D.D. are in the audience of a dating game show which is taken hostage by terrorists. After being held captive for some time and trying to devise an escape plan, Shane asks D.D how her bladder is doing, which the latter replies is "starting to feel like one of the great lakes". They call a guard, but the leader of the group refuses to let them go. Shane warns them "if you don't get me to a bathroom, I will show you a real act of terrorism".
