Beatriz Ferreira (Mina Nercessian) wakes up and sees a 39-days-late notification of her period. Worried, she quickly goes to the bathroom and tries to pee but no blood cames out of her. She prays and prays for it to happen but... nothing happens.

Later in the film, Beatriz wakes up and goes to the bathroom to try if some blood comes out of her. Once again, nothing happens. Her "period phone alarm" sounds, she takes her phone and deletes the app. Then, she takes her menstrual pad out of her underwear and throws it to the rubbish bin.
