Comedy

Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison). With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. The episode revolves around a camping trip. After realising the camper van she hired doesn’t have a toilet and not wanting to use the public toilets, Amanda (Lucy Punch) really needs to pee and tries to hold it in during the trip and ends up with a UTI. She mentions to her daughter she hasn’t urinated for over 26 hours at one point. Starts at 17:41 and continues at: 9:16, 11:24, and 14:32.

While trying to take an outside photo, Amanda still needing to pee ends up falling over which causes her to almost lose control on her bladder as she crosses her legs and holds herself in desperation. After seeing Anne (Phillippa Dunne) get her water, Amanda feeling really desperate decides to try and squat and pee in the bushes. She finally manages to pee as she sighs in relief but she is interrupted after seeing a snake. Starts at 19m:32 and continues at 24:22.

Now at a hospital, Amanda still needing to pee goes to visit her boyfriend and asks if she can use the toilet that is in his hospital room and he allows her. She then goes inside and sits on the toilet to pee. She sighs in relief again finally being able to finish peeing. Starts 24:22 (And continues through 25:21).
