Comedy

Caroline in the City is an American situation comedy that ran on the NBC television network. It stars Lea Thompson as cartoonist Caroline Duffy, who lives in Manhattan in New York City. The series premiered on September 21, 1995 in the "Must See TV" Thursday night block after Seinfeld. The show ran for 97 episodes over four seasons, before it was cancelled; its final episode was broadcast on April 26, 1999.

Season 1 Episode 8: Caroline and the Balloon
Caroline(Lea Thompson)is a rope puller in the Thanksgiving Day parade and is squirming in desperation, her boyfriend Del mentions that she should've gone before they left, Caroline says she didn't have to go then but says it's OK as she used to take long car trips as a kid, then her friends come up and talk to her all the while she's still squirming uncomfortably, unfortunately there are no further references to her desperation for the remainder of the episode.

Annie and Maria-Louise (Sandra Purpuro) are watching a movie being filmed on the street and after they finish Maria-Louise says "it was fun watching them make a movie but I really gotta pee" and she's shown shifting uncomfortably as she says says this, Annie tries to encourage her to stick around and then a guy comes over and her and him talk for a bit culminating in her slapping him and Maria-Louise running off-screen most likely to relieve herself.
