Hang Time is an American teen sitcom about a fictional Indiana high school's boys' basketball team "Deering" with one female player, that aired from 1995–2000. It aired on Saturday mornings on NBC as part of the network's TNBC morning block. It was created by Troy Searer, Robert Tarlow, and Mark Fink. The show lasted six seasons, during which the cast was changed almost in its entirety. Only two cast members stayed with the show throughout its entire run, similar to Saved by the Bell: The New Class.

Season 6 Episode 3: The Gospel According to Silk
The coach and the players are all competing in a contest run by Kristy (Amber Barretto) to win a car by being the last person remaining inside of it, Kristy mentions the contestants can only leave the vehicle for three minutes every hour for "personal needs" and then clarifies "you know potty break". Later on Coach and Mary-Beth (Megan Parlen)are the last ones remaining inside the car and are trying to annoy one another into leaving, Kristy warns them that if they don't play nice she'll cut their bathroom time in half, Mary-Beth then exists the car holding her crotch in desperation, Kristy asks where she's going and Mary-Beth replies "to take my potty break" and then hurriedly turns over the hourglass timer (to start her bathroom time) and rushes off to the bathroom in desperation, when she later emerges she sighs in relief.
