Scenes
Season 0 Episode 9: The Sick Party (Christmas Special 2012)
The family friend Jane (Hattie Morahan) tries to use the toilet as precocious Karen (Ramona Marquez) keeps pushing the door open to ask her questions. Karen is, rather humorously, challenging Jane about a goat that has been sponsored for her in Africa instead of a Christmas present.
Season 3 Episode 1: The Family Outing
The family is out in London when Sue (Claire Skinner) announces, "I need a wee!" Karen needs one too, so they both go into a high-tech public loo together. After a minute Karen opens the door and runs out, leaving her mother sitting there exposed in view of the public. This occurs just as the husband/father Pete (Hugh Dennis) is complaining about how his family embarrasses him everywhere.
Season 3 Episode 1: The Family Outing
Sue tries to use the toilet again as Karen is there with her. This scene may take place on the HMS Belfast.
