After the death of his wife, world-class neurosurgeon Dr. Andrew Brown leaves Manhattan and moves his family to the small town of Everwood, Colorado. Amy(Emily VanCamp) and Laynie(Nora Zehetner)are standing in a long line for the bathroom at a party, they both complain about how long this is taking, Laynie suggests finding another bathroom, Amy says she wants to stay so she does not lose her place in line. Laynie then goes off and finds a bathroom occupied with Amy's boyfriend Tommy doing a drug deal, Laynie then suddenly forgets all about her need to pee and the next time she talks to Amy it's not mentioned if Amy relieved herself or not.
