Comedy

This comedy follows Sam, as her life is turned upside down on a big night out. When reunited with her old college friends, Sam is forced to re-evaluate her life and constructs an elaborate façade in order to convince herself and her friends that she has it all. But once her dysfunctional yet devoted trio of best mates intervene, her carefully crafted charade begins to crumble amidst the shots, cigarettes, ciders and toilet transgressions. Faced with some very harsh realities, Sam must struggle to remain true to herself and reassess exactly what she wants from life.

Female Toilet

Just when the protagonist is washing her face in the sink, a group of girls enters the restroom and surprise her. All together are happy, gossiping, laughing, etc. One of the girls (simply accredited like "Bathroom Girl") goes to a stall. Wearing a short black skirt and a long shirt, she pulls down her undies to her ankles and proceeds to pee while continuing arguing with her friends.

Much of the film takes place in the ladies' room of a nightclub, with various front and overhead shots of women using the toilets and wiping. The first of the, shows the "Bathroom Girl" once again peeing while another girl (not name known) also peeing on the toilet, just a little bit angry. Both of them are in the stall next to each other, peeing and talking. "Bathroom girl" is the first to end and is shown wiping, standing up and pulling up her undies.

Chanel (Jaime Winstone) is arguing with Sam (Sheridan Smith) in the restroom when the latter enters to a stall. Soon, two Chanel's friends, Jess and Michelle (Oona Chaplin and Kate Nash), enter to the restroom and start laughing about some embarrassing thing Sam did. Trying to shut them up, Chanel simply keeps herself in silence and follows them to the dance floor. Meanwhile, Sam is shown with shorts pulled right before her knees, with water color eyes, hearing all the awful things, having a sad pee on the toilet.

In the last scene of the movie (entering to the credits), the 5 members of the band enter to the 5 stalls. The 5 of them start peeing on the toilet calmly. Soon, the janitor, who has talked very little during the movie, finally lets her voice out and starts singing in amazing vocals. Because of the groove, and despite their current position, each of the girls agree to play their instrument. Some of them quickly wipe themselves and get out from the stall, while others like the bassist simply vives with her bass guitar, living the experience, while continuing peeing on the toilet.
