Public Defender Eddie is a widower with a 13 year-old daughter, Naomi. A classic workaholic, Eddie has been M.I.A. for most of Naomi's big moments. But when an unfortunately timed accident gives Eddie the opportunity to become the "Team Mom" for the Killer Bees, Naomi's team in the Spring Action Classic at camp Hulka's Rock, he grabs it.

Eddie (George Lopez) is leading his scouts through the woods, and Paulina (Jessica McLeod) announces she needs to pee. Eddie tells her, "They're called trees, pick one," but she decides she doesn't have to go that bad. Later Paulina says "I don't think I can hold it any longer" to which Kayla (Laine MacNeil) replies "you're not the only one", then Eddie gets hit by a paintball and caught in a trap and when some boys emerge from the woods in camo gear to confront the girls Paulina exclaims "OK that's it, I need a tree!" and then frantically runs off-screen to relieve herself.
