Akash and Kiara are trying to find luck in their life after several failed attempts to be successful in their careers and in love. Fed up, they both decide to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge. However, both land up on the same bridge at the same time.

Kiara (Priyanka Chopra) is riding through the desert with Akash (Ranbir Kapoor) in a red convertible. She says "I need to go, I need to go now!" and he stops the car. Akash gets out too, to help her find a bush big enough to squat behind, then she makes him plug his ears to keep from hearing her pee. While all this is going on, someone steals their car.
