Scenes
Shirley (Cleta Elaine Ellington) uses James Brown's (Chadwick Boseman's) bathroom. She sits on the toilet and smokes a cigarette. Her feet are shown underneath the stall door with her pantyhose down, but there is no pee audio. When Brown shows up and smells "Number Two" in his bathroom, he loses his temper and confronts Shirley and several other people with a gun. This scene re-enacts a true incident in the life of the "Godfather of Soul."
