Remy, a seemingly naive and devout young woman, finds herself cast out from her religious cult. With no place to turn, she immerses herself into the underground world of truck stop sex workers. Jonah (Laevin Story), a young boy, is shown from behind using a urinal in the station restroom. He hears noises coming from a stall, and he peeks in to see a man and woman apparently engaged in sexual activity.

Riley (Eden Brolin) uses a station toilet. She pees, then notices that she got her period. She notices blood under another stall, and she assumes someone else got her period too, only to realize that the blood is coming from a corpse. When interviewed by Sheriff Rex (William Baldwin) she states that she was peeing, she got her period, and she found the body.

During a montage of the prostitutes giving tips and advice to the new girl, Remy (Olivia Luccardi), Levi (Owen Campbell) the male prostitute, tells her about how he finds clients through bathroom stalls. Telling her how those there for a piss or shit come into the neighbouring stall in a hurry, but those looking for sexual activity walk into it slowly and casually. This is shown from his perspective of feet visible under the stall entering the neighbouring stall, complete with pissing and farting sound effects for those who are there to use the toilet.

Liv (Virginia Rand) is shown exiting a toilet stall as Remy (Olivia Luccardi) is at the sink, in front of the mirror.
