Vincent Van Gogh (Tim Roth) is painting a beautiful woman's picture when she takes a break to use the chamber pot. You can't hear her pissing (the sound of rain obscures it), but you can see her use the pot, sigh in relief, and wipe herself with a bedspread.
The woman's daughter (apx. 8 years old) squats in some sand, not knowing that it is part of Vincent's exhibit. Vincent grabs her and tells her to piss on other people's art instead.
Vincent's brother Theo (Paul Rhys) tries to pee but can't because he has syphilis.
