Scenes
A man (Keith Allen) kidnaps his three-year-old son James (Jake Owen). While driving away, he stops to take a leak on a tree (shown from behind at a distance). At this time his son puts his fingers to his pants and then smells them. The David Cook novel on which this film is based indicates that this is because he has peed in them.
James (now a ten-year-old played by Chris Cleary Miles) pees onto a camp fire.
A social worker reminds James of a pants-wetting that occurred when he was six. The novel contains yet another pee scene that is missing from the movie, in which a schoolboy pees his pants out of sheer laziness.
