Stephanie collapses in a pool of blood while on a school skiing trip. A doctor discovers that the blood is the after-effects of giving birth. Soon afterward, the body of a newborn baby is found in a toilet, its mouth blocked with toilet paper. Despite Stephanie's insistence that her child was stillborn and that she had no idea that she was pregnant, she is arrested for the murder of the child.

Lydia (Tilda Swinton) rushes to the toilet when she gets home. She is heard peeing realistically for about 10 seconds as Paul (Timothy Hutton) and her cat both come into the bathroom to greet her.
Lydia stops her SUV along the side of the road and pees there. Shown from a distance.
Stephanie Daley (Amber Tamblyn) goes into a handicapped stall in a ladies' room to give birth. Her water breaks and covers her shoes, then she has to stay quiet while other young women come in and use the facilities. No peeing is heard.
