In the highlands of Scotland in the 1700s, Rob Roy tries to lead his small town to a better future, by borrowing money from the local nobility to buy cattle to herd to market. When the money is stolen, Rob is forced into a Robin Hood lifestyle to defend his family and honour.

Archibald (Tim Roth) wakes up and takes a long pee (over 20 seconds) into a chamber pot. We see him grab the pot from the nightstand and then hear the stream, but he is only shown from the chest up. Meanwhile, he talks to the "great smelly Scotchman" who has come to see him.
Mary (Jessica Lange) wakes up in her house and squats in some gravel by a lake. We see her adjusting her dress and hear the splattering noises.
